Gas Safety

Landlords are legally required to ensure that any gas appliance, fittings or flues provided for the use of their tenants are safe. Landlords must have gas appliances checked by a Corgi registered engineer every 12 months.

Shackleton & Wintle already work in partnership with letting agents across Gloucestershire to carry out these annual inspections and issue CP12 safety certificates. We will complete an annual boiler service and inspection for the all inclusive price of £68.50 plus VAT when arranged online.

Electrical Safety

Unlike the gas regulations there is no statutory requirement for landlords to complete electrical safety inspections, however it remains the responsibility of the Landlord to ensure that electrical equipment is maintained so as not to pose a danger to the tenant. Shackleton and Wintle can carry out an annual Portable Appliance Test for just £48.50
